Service Tech

Halls Sport Center is a full service retail boat dealership in West Michigan. We are looking to hire a full time mechanic at our Muskegon location. Mechanical experience in the marine industry is preferred but not required. Lines that we carry and service include: Four Winns, Bennington, Crownline, Mercury, Mercruiser, Volvo-Penta, and Yamaha. Sales Representative

Parts Specialist

We’re looking for a motivated and customer‑focused Parts Counter Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys helping people, and is interested in building a long‑term career in the marine industry. Whether you have prior parts experience or you grew up around boats and want to turn that passion into a profession, we’d love to meet you.

Duties:
Assist customers with their parts needs, both in person and over the phone
Identify and locate the correct parts using the dealership’s order management system
Process parts orders and ensure accurate documentation
Coordinate with the shipping and receiving department to ensure timely delivery of parts
Maintain inventory levels and perform regular stock checks
Handle returns and exchanges of parts
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns

Parts Counter experience – looking for a long term job
Someone who is mechanically inclined but may be looking to move out of mechanic work into parts

Marine Storage Warehouse/Boat yard Operations Coordinator

A Yard Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring that the yard operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company policies and regulations. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Yard Organization:

Plan and implement efficient yard layouts to optimize space utilization.
Ensure that materials, equipment, and vehicles are stored, stacked, or positioned in a manner that allows for easy access and retrieval.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement or warehouse teams for replenishment as necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the yard area.
2. Equipment Maintenance:

Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repair of yard equipment and vehicles.
Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and compliant with safety standards.
Report equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs.
3. Inventory Management:

Track incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery and shipment of goods.
Perform regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and address them.
4. Customer Service:

Assist customers and suppliers with inquiries, requests, and order pickups as necessary.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through efficient and organized yard operations.
Other Qualifications:

Operating a forklift to move boats and other materials
Clean driving record
Marine warehouse experience NEEDED.
