When this business first opened its doors 51 years ago, we had no idea what it would grow into. What started as a one-man operation is now home to 39 employees, with an extensive customer base right here in West Michigan!
Halls Sport Center has grown into three locations – Muskegon, Standale (Grand Rapids), and Grand Haven – with a marina and 24 slips at the GH location. We have a new, state-of-the-art, 35,000 square foot indoor store facility in Muskegon that is able to hold 517 boats in the air. We offer parts and service in our Muskegon and Standale stores. Our service and parts crew are the best in the industry. Our experienced Master mechanics are constantly learning to service the latest technology in the field with continued education. We pride ourselves on professional and personalized customer service.
Our sales team is led by Hayden Hall, who has grown up in the business and has a passion for making anyone excited about boating! Our sales team has decades of knowledge and experience and the desire to help you find the right boat to fit your lifestyle! We carry Bennington Pontoon boats, Four Winns, Wellcraft, Scarab, and Crownline fiberglass boats. We have won numerous manufacturer awards for both sales volume, and more importantly, customer satisfaction!

Harold Hall was voted most likely to fail in high school. The lack of confidence from his fellow classmates led him to do just the opposite. Right after graduating high school Harold opened Hall’s Sport Center and conducted business out of his garage as a one man operation. Fast forward 51 years and he now has 4 beautiful locations with indoor showrooms for new & used boats, state-of-the-art parts & service departments, and a marina with 24 slips available.
All those years ago, Harold took his fear of being a failure and turned it into an initiative to make his business the best, and he’s done just that! Hall’s Sport Center is currently the number one boat dealer in West Michigan, thanks to our family, friends and community for continuing to support and allow us to grow.
